Additionally, Yuka's analysis is based only on a product's health impact and not on its environmental impact, which is at the heart of why palm oil is viewed so negatively.
However, the paid version of our application offers customized alerts for users who wish to be informed on the presence of palm oil in a scanned product. Product recommendations are also customizable and can exclude recommendations for products containing palm oil.
